as System & Network Engineer
Reponsibilites:
- Administer network and system infrastructure for service bureau that supports both domestic broker dealers and international financial firms
- Manage network access control system, firewall, bandwidth management, virtual private network, DNS, mail routing, and other systems
- Update documentation and provides management reports; assists in FIX certification, administration of disaster recovery, and business continuity operations
- Provide Tier II and Tier III support on client/vendor requests regarding telecom and data network issues
- Maintain test environment to assess configuration changes to network, servers, desktops, and applications
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Enginerring/ Information Technology or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in a 24/7 mission-critical environment
- Flexibility to cover nights and weekends when required
